The University of Illinois Student Chapter of HFES, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society serves students interested in human factors enrolled in the University's Human Factors curriculum as well as associated University institutions such as the Departments of Psychology, Beckman Institute for Advanced Science & Technology, Computer Science and Industrial & Enterprise Systems Engineering.

Hello All!!!

I hope everyone had a great summer. We are excited to welcome you to, or back to, UIUC this fall. We have an exciting calendar of events planned this year for the Human Factors and Ergonomic Society Student Group. To kick off events this year, we will be hosting a Student Mixer/ Pool party at the Amber Pointe Apartment Complex Pool on Thursday, August 28 at 5 pm. The purpose of this event is to introduce students to the HFES organization and provide a social atmosphere for students to meet. This is a pool party, so feel free to bring your suit and take a dip (if it's cool there is a hot tub). There will also be other social activities such as games/ frisbee, etc. We will be providing a barbecue dinner, but it would be nice if you could bring a side dish. Additionally, non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, but feel free to BYOB. Also, feel free to bring your significant other, but please RSVP accordingly. Please fill out a quick survey/ RSVP here so we can plan the BBQ accordingly.
