My research combines principles from information science and human factors to study distributed information practice in safety and time critical environments (aviation and medical).
Project Site(s) Sociotechnical Systems Safety Research Research which investigates factors affecting risk, decision, performance, and safety in high reliability organizations. We have developed measurement criteria and investigated interactions among diverse working groups to assess the impact of culture on attitudes and organizational behavior.
