The people participating in human factors research and education at the University of Illinois have diverse backgrounds and areas of interest and expertise, contributing to the excellence of the University's human factors programs.

Human factors faculty have their home appointments in units such as the Human Factors Division, the Departments of Computer Science, Psychology, Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering, Mechanical Science and Engineering, and the Graduate School of Library and Information Science.

Graduate Students
Human factors graduate students are either in the Master of Science in Human Factors program or in the Interdisciplinary Program in Human Factors through departments of Psychology, Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Science and Engineeing.
