Dr. von Thaden delivers invited talk at 20th FAA/ATA Human Factors Symposium

Orlando, FL: Dr. Terry von Thaden recently delivered an invited talk at the 20th FAA/ATA Human Factors Symposium on Maintenance and Ramp Safety. Dr. von Thaden addressed a record attendance audience from over 14 countries. Her talk centered on the measurement of safety culture in commercial aviation operations as it affects maintenance and ramp operations internationally. As a globally recognized researcher in safety culture, Dr.von Thaden has developed measurement tools used widely in the industry, both locally and globally. Dr. von Thaden presented aggregate industry results and lessons learned from over 100+ safety culture surveys conducted worldwide.
